Sakku Solar-Powered Messenger Bags
Sakku is the first swiss messenger bag with integrated solar cells. The sakku solar bag is a Swiss product and provides constant power for your cell phone, GPS, iPod or PDA. The bags are similar in weight and size to conventional messenger bags and are made of a variety of recycled materials including sailboat sails. The bags are rain and splash proof, but not 100% water proof.

We carry three models of Sakku bags: The Sakku Traveler, the Sakku Worker, and the Sakku Buddy. Each model is available with the "Akku" charging system, or the "Direct" charging system. With the Akku system, your mobile devices will be charged continuously with the integrated rechargeable battery, taking about 1 hour to achieve a full charge on an average device. The Akku system can be also used in bad weather or at night. With the Direct system, you are only able to charge your devices if the sun is shining and the charging device is attached--ideal for beach or poolside use--taking about 2.5 hours to achieve a full charge on an average mobile device.
